Cheryl Sackmann, M.A., M.Ed.(owner and head instructor of Aireborne), began competing in dog agility in 2000 and has been instructing the sport since 2002.  She runs two Airedale Terriers in the sport of dog agility:  Seneca's Sedona Gala Affair  NAP  NJP MX  MXJ  CGC and Seneca Bona Fide Bold Bandit AX  MXJ  CGC and licensed Delta Society Pet Partner.

Cheryl's involvement in the Delta Society Pet Partner program began in 2000 as well and in 2001 she became a Delta Society Pet Partner instructor and evaluator.  She and her dog Bandit presently serve in assisted care living facilities in Redmond, Washington.

As a retired educator of K-12, University and Adult Learners with almost 30 years of experience, Cheryl understands the importance of training "both ends of the leash".  Her involvement in both dog agility and the Delta Society Pet Partner program evolved from a life-long love of teaching canines and a desire to share this love by educating other humans.

The first and foremost goal of Cheryl and all Aireborne instructors is for you and your dog to strengthen your bond whether through learning to play the game of dog agility or learning to serve others in a therapy dog program.
